Welcome to Fancy Cakes Kent!

​My name is Julia, I started this adventure in 2023 when I moved to Canterbury, leaving my teaching job in London to pursue a passion I’ve had since I was a little girl. I’ve been making cakes for as long as I can remember, or for as long as I’ve been able to hold a spoon! Since starting Fancy Cakes Kent I’ve had the joy of creating hundreds of cakes for every kind of celebration: birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, graduations, retirements, baby showers, hen parties, and weddings.

I take pride in using high-quality ingredients, and all of my cakes are made with Swiss meringue buttercream. It’s creamy, light, and less sweet than traditional American buttercream.
